Join us for a 2-hour arm-balance workshop designed for all levels of practitioners. Vana will provide step-by-step guidance for some of the most practiced arm-balances in yoga and some less common, but very exciting and playful, ones too.
Beginners will get detailed guidance and work towards getting on the hands.
Intermediate and advanced practitioners will have the opportunity to explore
new ways of getting in and out of the poses, while they will be introduced to some more challenging poses.
The workshop will start with a full-body warm up followed by yoga flow sequences that each will prepare the body for each of the arm-balances.
We will work on full-body strength, but also on the mind, as both are needed in order to get into some poses that, at first glance, might look scary. We
will focus on good technique and build gradually to lifting off the ground. We will conclude the workshop with grounding the body and deep relaxation.
The workshop will be led in English.
